Professional Development Opportunities at ECU


NFHS Coaches Education Course

This course follows the National Standards for Athletic Coaches and the
Level I National Council for the Accreditation of Coaching Education
(NCACE) guidelines.

NIAAA Leadership Training Program courses

501 - Athletic Administration: Philosophy, Leadership, Organization, and
Professional Programs. Required for: RAA, CAA, and CMAA Certification

502 - Athletic Administration: Principals, Strategies, and Methods.
Required for: RAA, CAA, and CMAA Certification

612 - Athletic Administration: Technology I, Basic Computer Application

Sports Medicine for School Personnel

Even if your school has a certified athletic trainer on staff, the
information you will gain by attending the course will further benefit
your school program and the safety of your student athletes. Topics
will include: Emergency Preparedness, Common Conditions, Injuries, and
Infections of the Young Athlete, and Principals of Basic Injury
Prevention and Management

This is the second year we have been able to offer these courses face to
face, showcase our university in a campus tour, share in a tailgate
lunch, and celebrates the great sport of football by attending a home
game! Please join us as our guests for ECU vs Marshall, November 8,
